Raised in Norway’s cutting edge aquaculture farms and flown in fresh to our local sister company, Flannery Seafood, this farmed halibut is on par with the wild variety. Similar to Wild Northern Halibut, Norwegian Halibut is high in omega-3 fat content thanks to the colder water, giving it a rich yet mild flavor. With a meaty, firm texture, this fish is best enjoyed grilled, baked, or poached. Thanks to its mild flavor, it is also suited for more complex, flavorful seasoned fish recipes. A whole side portion, from which fillets are cut, is a great option when cooking for a crowd and presents beautifully.
